Waynesboro

South River Greenway

The South River Greenway in the City of Waynesboro links the Loth Springs Trailhead to Constitution Park, home to Waynesboro’s Farmers Market, Arboretum, and the site designated as Virginia’s first Urban Trout Fishery, and in 2019 to North Park.

The 1.3-mile paved path begins at Constitution Park and meanders along the South River and terminates at the Loth Springs trailhead area behind the YMCA. Walkers, runners, bikers, and fishermen will find a peaceful setting to get out and enjoy where good nature comes naturally.

Parking lots at either end, Loth Springs Parking area located behind the YMCA on Arch Avenue, and at Constitution Park, 101 Short Street.
