Lexington Routes
Lexington-Brushy Hill Loop

9 miles (14.5 km)/

925 feet (281.9 meters)

A popular short loop, this nine-mile ride is good for when you are up for a challenge but don't have much time. There is a short meander through farmland and pasture, with pretty vistas along Union Run and Spring Valley.
Lexington-Goshen Loop

48.8 miles (78.5 km)/

2,639 feet (804.4 meters)

This is an advanced ride due to the overall amount of climbing and the distance. This is a lollipop shaped route, riding out and returning along the stem. The loop segment can be ridden in either direction.
Buena Vista Routes

Buena Vista-South River

Out & Back

12.2 miles (19.6 km)/

198 feet (60.4 meters)

This route runs alongside the South River, in a fairly flat and wide valley. This is a beginner's ride, with an easy grade up river. This route is an out-and-back - head up river and when you are ready, just turn around and roll back to the start.
Buena Vista-Blue Ridge Parkway North

45.2 miles (72.7 km)/

4,052 feet (1,235.1 meters)

This is a difficult and beautiful ride starting in Buena Vista. There is a long climb to the Blue Ridge Parkway, and a very steep descent down into the community of Vesuvius.
